have participated in our region’s classes, pursuing their interests in different languages of Computer Science. No matter what, there is a class for each student that will both challenge and empower them.

75+ teachers

have joined our staff, allowing us to maintain a 5:1 student ratio. Teachers are highly-motivated, well-qualified high school mentors that use Steel City Codes-curriculum to guide Bay Area students through their Computer Science journeys.

7+ weekly chapters

Since 2022, our region has offered in-person weekly coding chapters, offering students coding opportunities throughout the year to pursue several different classes, ranging from Introductory Java, to Project-Based Python, to GirlsHack Website Development.

3+ summer camps

Our summer camps offer an immersive, deep-dive into Introductory, Intermediate, and Project-Based Java and Python, as well as Web Development. Complete with a hands-on final project and recreational activities, camps are a great way for students to both gain practical programming skills andbond with their peers and .
